Hockey - How to Play Like the Pros

Hockey - How to Play Like the Pros is full of great tips and makes an excellent beginners guide for learning to play ice hockey.

Easy to Digest

Great photos that clearly illustrate each tip, along with clear, well designed page layouts make this book easy and enjoyable to read. It’s great for just picking it up and looking up a quick tip during commercials or period breaks. Everything from fitness, to skating, scoring, defense, and goaltending is covered. The tips get right to the point without a lot of background theory getting in the way. Tips from NHL players as well.

Great for any Age

The intent of this book was to be directed at young hockey players, but I found nothing in the language or the instruction that doesn’t work for adults as well. Highly recommended if you are just starting out.

Written by Sean Rossiter, who has written 14 books on Hockey, and Paul Carson, who is Director of Development at Hockey Canada Skills Academy. A couple of great Canadian Kids!
